<p>My AP Calculus test killed me today... I'm expecting MAYBE a B? More like a C+ or B-.
If I end up getting straight A's, but pass the AP exam with, say, a 3, would that hurt my chances of admission to top colleges? My teacher gives straight A's for the entire year if you pass the AP exam.</p>
<p>No the ap test is in May, if you are a senior you already will have been accepted into a college and all that. And colleges dont base acceptance on the ap test. That is just for what AP credit you get, some dont give credits for certain scores. I had a AP calc test today too! The first half…the other is tomorrow:P</p>

<p>Your AP test scores DO NOT influence admissions. I am positive. They are only for college credit (as ozzy331 said).</p>
<p>Ok, don’t be so down on yourself. It’s only Dec 1. You know your weakness, now improve upon it. If you have a good teacher you’ll do well. (My calc teacher has never had a student get below a 3.) ^_^</p>

<p>Not necessarily. When you take the AP test, you already chose the college your going to. You really dont put it in your application either. The only thing colleges check throughout the year is your GPA to make sure you arent blowing off your classes. AP tests are just bonuses for AP credit that save you money. The grade you get in the AP class counts, obviously lol.</p>

<p>I’m a junior. Once a virgin to AP tests, I will be taking 4 this year. Are you telling me I could get 3’s and have no harm done on me? I have no desire to ejaculate myself from the classes.</p>
<p>Yep, I took AP tests as a junior. They dont need it. I filled out all my college apps and none asked for AP tests. I mean idk if like the top top ones look. If you are literally neck in neck and that is all they have to go off of then maybe but you dont have to even put it on there. They are much more concerned about how you did with the class in general because that is all the AP coursework and tests and everything. This is just one test and some people dont even take the class and take the AP test anyways so they cant really base it off that. My friend didnt take APUSH and took the test anyways. And some people take the AP classes and not the tests. You can always call and ask about it too if you want to. I hope that helped:)</p>

The whole thing is the college app and transcript and everything is what counts but the bonus question is the AP test scores. They both just give you extra padding and support through out. And I feel lame for using that as an analogy lol:P</p>

But, I finished too early because it was soo intense. I felt soo dirty about it. I was also sweating because the A/C was broken.</p>
