Hi! I auditioned December 10 for the Ithaca College music program (music ed, voice) and I’m regular decision. I haven’t heard back yet and I was wondering if anyone has.
We were in contact with a music professor who indicated that results will be received by March 31. My son also auditioned on 12/10!
My S just auditioned this past Saturday, which was their final audition date. The director of admissions for the music school said he planned to have his recommendations in to the college admissions office this week and we should expect decisions to come out mid to late March.
My S received his acceptance on 2/22. We are waiting on the financial aid packet before he makes a decision. He did receive an award from the music department and that was in the acceptance packet.
My S got his acceptance letter today and also a music merit scholarship. We too are awaiting the final financial aid numbers to see where he might go.
@DrCounsel How much was the music merit scholarship?
My foster son’s brother just got accepted, but I am not sure how he is going to afford the $60K a year bill.
What other scholarship/merit aid do they offer? He is Pell Grant eligible, but that won’t even make a dent.
Pell Grant max is $5,920
Student loan max is $5,500
Where is the other money coming from?
The merit was $20K per year. Have not received anything from financial aid yet to see if further money will be offered, so we are still waiting to see.
Anyone heard from the jazz department yet??
