Does anyone know anything about Ithaca College's physical therapy program? I've heard that the program does a good job preparing students for testing, but I've heard many negative things about the school itself. Does anyone know how difficult it is to get into the program, or any other general information?

I have heard good things about the program as well. It is one of their stronger programs along with communications. Therapy programs are accredited and Ithaca has a good reputation in the PT community. My sense is that it is easier as a freshman to get in then to apply the grad school route.

I go there and am in the communications school (journalism major). Two of my better friends are PT majors, but I don't know what they really think of it. It's supposed to have a pretty good rep. As for the school itself, it's an interesting atmosphere. However, for myself, I want to switch to a business major. And if you think you are going to want to switch majors (and it doesn't involve communications, pt, theatre, or music), then you'll probably want to not go there. I'm applying to transfer because of my desire to switch majors.
