Ithaca EA 2025

I figured it would be after break at this point, just curious if any had been received. My son received his notification on 12/17 and we are extremely grateful for that but I still believe receiving that large envelope in the mail is the grand finale of the application process. There’s nothing quite like it :slightly_smiling_face:

DD was accepted on December 7, still waiting for the package as well, although we are from Canada and the mail has been terrible between the holidays and covid. Hoping to get it soon!

i applied EA and was sent an email that said i was invited to apply to one of the honors programs - does anyone know if that means i’m technically already into the school?

I also got invited to apply to an honors program. I don’t think it means you’re in, but I think it could definitely help your chances of getting in.

S just got updated portal email this morning. He got in to business with a merit scholarship. Very excited. I was worried that it was bad news that we did not hear earlier.

My S was accepted into the 6 year DPT program yesterday. Anyone else considering IC for physical therapy?

My daughter is going for OT. Tell your son to join the class 2025 Facebook page, there are several who got admitted to DPT

Thanks! Will do.

Congrats to your son! I’ve heard great things about the program. My daughter was just accepted as well. Also considering a couple of other DPT options. Tough decisions ahead!

Thanks! Congrats to your daughter! Yes, some very tough decisions ahead. We certainly like the immediate acceptance into a 3+3 program, but there are so many factors to consider. Hopefully things will open up and these kids can visit some more campuses without too many restrictions before decision time!

Congratulations! My son just committed to the DPT program and football team!!

That’s exciting! Congrats!
As much as I actually enjoy the process, I’m envious that you know where your son is going. My oldest, my D, applied ED to her 1st choice and got in so we were one and done. My S applied to 15 schools this year b/c we just didn’t know what to expect with Covid. It’s going to be a difficult decision to make. Love the 6 year program at IC, and potential to play sports. A couple more months waiting for decisions though…

My eldest (daughter) was one and done as well, so funny. My son has taken me on a wild ride, I think he started with close to 50 schools and thank goodness narrowed it down to applying to 6. Football recruiting added an extra layer of excitement and complexities. It has been a run 2 years but I’m so glad to have it all settled now. I would say now we can enjoy the rest of senior year but who knows what that will actually look like! Best wishes to your family…if you think of it, let us know what he decides.

That’s great! Really glad for you that he didn’t stick with 50 schools! Haha. I think our 3rd is going to bring the sports recruiting element, so just when we thought we had it all figured out it will change on us again!

Congrats again and thanks for the good wishes.

I just got in for the Cinema & Photography major with a scholarship!!

The email was in my promotions folder, hidden away and I actually got my acceptance yesterday, lol.

Best of luck to everyone! Does anyone know if there is an accepted student instagram or facebook group?

My son received his acceptance packet in the mail last week and we were hoping financial aid decisions would be included but they weren’t. So at this point all we have is his merit scholarship amount. Has anyone received theirs?

My D was accepted on December 7 through ED. We still haven’t gotten anything in the mail (not even the admission packet)

We received acceptance via his portal on 12/17 and received the packet (just a booklet and copy of letter already seen in portal) last Wednesday. My understanding is that things are running very behind due to COVID.

We finally got the admissions welcome folder with letter today after being notified in mid December.
