Does anyone know what time Add/Drop begins? I read one post which states 7 am - another that questions whether it is midnight. Anyone know for sure? Thank you!

7 in the morning.

yay I'm getting up in 5 hours

My son did well with add/drop this morning. Hope everyone else gets what they want.

Everything went well for me too! I'm so happy because I had issues registering at ctops and got barely anything I wanted/needed. I'm definitely less stressed out now.

Because I'm going to the last CTOPS, I can't take advantage of drop/add since I haven't registered for classes yet. That's a real bummer. They really didn't tell me that when I was choosing which CTOPS to go to.

Oh well, it's only for first semester.

Does anyone know why Econ 101 has a course restriction and what I do to register? I have tried calling the department and it went straight to voice mail, so I am not sure what else to do. Thanks!

you need to sign up for a recitation that matches the section of your lecture! so like if your section is 008, you need to sign up for recitation 801-809. i'm pretty sure this will solve your problem.

I hope Drop/Add went well for everybody! : )

I'm kind of confused as to why there are no slots for english 102 open but there's 4+ classes of 101 open...

i think they have more open in the spring for 102

When do they get rid of the waitlist? I was 1st on a waitlist for math 233, and I dropped that today to add another class at that specific time all because I thought they were getting rid of the waitlist today?

does drop/add end every night at 7?
it wont let me log in any more

^Same here. Maybe it's because the registrar's office closes at 7. I'm waitlisted 1st for Japn, so if it's closed until the semester starts, I will definitely be bummed out. Still, I still have 13 hours, so even without the added 4 hours, I'm still considered a full-time student, which is a major relief.

I'm pretty sure it's open 7 to 7 every day until like 2 weeks after classes start.

hahahaha....I have CTOPS in a week!

oh and waitlists are erased on august 8th i read

calgar, if you want engl 102, you can do engl 102i , it's basically the same thing with concentrations on specific topics to write about, and there are usually mor eopen spaces . and it counts for the engl 102 credit that you need. :)

Thanks, I hadn't heard of that before but yesterday one of my friends suggested it so I got a good time and prof just now. Glad to say I sorted out my wreck after making about 10 changes.

And waitlists erased? What does that mean, if you're on it you get kicked off?

It means that if you don't clear the wait list, that is the last day they have you actually on one. After that, they just eliminate the waitlist altogether.
S2 simply registered for another class, and may or may not take the one he was waitlisted for as the one he is taking will fulfill the same requirement.
