<p>Self-explanatory title. I applied for a PIN number almost a week ago. It says it should take 1-3 days to receive a confirmation via email. I'm pretty sure I typed everything in right, but still no email.</p>

<p>Are you talking about a PIN for FAFSA? If so, you can call them. If not FAFSA, I would say call whoever else it is. Reapplying could mess up everything else, if you have posted anything else on line.</p>
<p>Yea, I'm talking about the PIN for FAFSA. I just called, and they said it's already active. But I never got any email, and isn't there supposed to be some kind of email verifying that FAFSA received/activated the PIN number?</p>
<p>And since they said it's already active, I did the whole "Forget your PIN?" stuff and realized that I didn't make any typos or anything. It's just really weird that they say it's active, but I'm trying to sign the FAFSA application with my PIN and it won't work.</p>
<p>Are you sure that you are typing in your pin number and not your parent's pin number(or vice versa). You each have your own and one will not work with the other's social security number.</p>
<p>Problem solved. My dad mistakened my birthday. (sigh)</p>
