Last night, my son made it official: he's a Carl! He's very happy, and we're very proud. Don't know what else to say, but I know we'll have plenty of questions for Carleton parents and students as move-in day draws nearer.

Great decision! Hope he loves it there as much as my daughter does! :)

That’s so funny…last night was when I made my decision too! Perhaps I will meet your son next year :)

Solid choice. Good to see people choosing Carleton.

Yesterday night must have been a magic night for Carleton, because that was when I had my big realization (after several stressful days of waffling) as well that Carleton is right for me I haven’t sent in my stuff yet, but I’m 99% certain I’m going now!

Yay! I can’t wait to meet you all :)

Congratulations to the new Carls!

DS is in, too!

S#2 decided on Carleton a couple of weeks ago.

Anyone know if the $300 enrollment deposit is applied to tuition? I didn’t see anything one way or the other in the the acceptance package.

I just got my enrollment confirmation letter - it states that $50 out of the $300 is held as an “ongoing transcript fee,” and the other $250 will be returned upon graduation under the conditions set forth in the 2009-10 Carleton College Catalog.

Drought: how long ago did you send in your deposit? I heard there’s a bumper sticker with the confirmation and I want mine now :D

Haha yeah the bumper sticker’s sweet… I sent my deposit almost two weeks ago and I just got the confirmation today, so it took quite a while to arrive.
