It's deadline day, so let's have a countdown

i got in!! congrats to everyone and GOOD LUCK to those who haven't heard!!!

I live in California too, and am yet to receive anything!

Aagh!

Same here!

I live in the midwest and my regular mail already came. Oh gosh. This is bad!

Please tell me they arrive separately!! I don't want to have to wait ALL Sunday. Ugh!

anyone from florida??

My mom pointed out that since it's around the holiday season it may take a little longer for mail to come in. Priority mail comes in around 2 - 3 days, so we may have to wait until next week. Errr... WHY MUST THE MAIL NOT COME ON SUNDAYS.

I totally feel everyone's pain. At least we're all in this together!

Don't worry guys, priority mail can take a little longer than 2 days. I live pretty close to NYC too, so those of you who live in the midwest/west coast should probably get them Monday.

Good luck!

Edit: it came with the regular mail.

Ah, darn. The mail came, but no large envelope. :( My best friend found out she got into Bryn Mawr ED yesterday via phone call from the admissions office. Does anyone know why Barnard doesn't send notifications through e-mail/post it online/call/etc?

Also, thanks for the support. I've never been so anxious about anything... ever. Haha. This all seems so surreal. I am excited for all of those who got in! It seems like a lot of girls on CC will be at Barnard in the Fall! Hope to see you all there!

I think we all understand the anxiety, ckim. This morning was like the longest morning of my life! I wish there was mail tomorrow so all of you could find out before Monday.

I'm in! I got my acceptance email last night (international applicants got notices earlier.) Best of luck to you all!

for all u girls who were accepted, congrats! one of my rly good friends created a facebook group for class of 2013 if any of u girls use facebook!

This still feels like a dream...I keep looking at the heading on the letter thinking it should say someone else's name!

Ahhhhh! I got my letter! I'm in! I cannot believe it! : )

Congratulations to all who know already, and I'm thinking of you still waiting to find out.

It reminds me of the excitement here when my daughter found out she was going to Barnard!!! She's graduating this year.

This time goes really fast. She had an absolutely wonderful experience there. It really has become her home. She's planning on getting an apartment and trying to stay in the neighborhood for her gap year before law school.

i didnt hear anything yet! does that mean i'm rejected/deferred?!!!

Accepted! Hurrah! I'm ecstatic right now!

(I'm in California by the way and got it today.)

still nothing here... I think I must have been rejected.

nyc223 - i'm in the midwest, too, and i haven't gotten anything either. if you think about it, though, there are masses of mail that are shuttled through the middle of the country, compared to the things that are sent straight to the coasts.

... at least, that's what i'm telling myself.

good luck!

I hope you are right. All day Sunday to hang out at home and twiddle my thumbs. This is driving me crazy--hence the posts at 11:30PM!
