<p>I was hoping I wouldn't have to make this thread, but unfortunately I was deferred EA from Northeastern today. I will give some background on my situation, and then we can get to the stats...</p>
<p>-My Situation: Northeastern is my top choice by a nice sized margin. American comes in at number two, with Drexel, BU, and Forham all also in the mix. I applied to NEU early action and (as you can see above) I got deferred. I also got deferred from Fordham, with an acceptance from Drexel. I now have to make the decision of whether I should apply ED2 to American and say goodbye to NEU if I get in, or if I should risk not getting in to either regular decision.</p>
<p>-What I Need From You Guys: What are my chances of getting in to American ED2? How about RD? What are my chances of getting into NEU RD? What are my chances of me getting into Fordham RD and BU RD?</p>
<p>Basic Info
-Male
-White
-Majoring in business (probably MIS to be more specific)
-Goes to a top 75 HS in NJ (Side note:31/33 kids from my HS who applied did not get into NEU today)</p>
<p>Unweighted GPA: 3.32
- I got a 3.62 the first marking period this year, and as of right now I have a 3.75 this marking period
-My freshman year GPA is better than my sophomore GPA, but my junior year GPA was my highest yet</p>
<p>*Weighted GPA: 4.75/7 *
- My school uses a 7 scale, and I am not too sure how to convert it to a 5 scale. (sorry!)</p>
<p>My only AP/Honors are AP Psych and Honors Journalism, both this year</p>

-I feel like my essay may actually be one of the strongest (if not the strongest) part of my application. It is very good and very creative, while still telling a lot about me. It is about different broadway musicals and how they relate to my life.</p>

-I think my teacher one is above average, and my GC one is very good</p>
