The usual.. what are my chances at acceptance to these schools?!

GPA: ~ 90
SATs: 2080 =|
ACTs: 33 (power composite score = 34)
SAT Subjects: Lit-700 Math I-730 Math II-710
All honors classes, and APs all four years... elite, prestigious high school highest ranked in my state, not even on us news report best schools list -- on the "elite" list!
suppposedly adcoms know this (?) and keep it in mind when reviewing
---ex: when columbia rep. was at my school, she said av.gpa for accepted students from my high school was B+/A-..... surprised me, but i guess it is still better to be in my h.s. with mediocre grades than regular one with 100 / 4.0 (which there are many students out there with...)
-school does not have a class rank - too competitve

The Schools:
i have applied to other (safties / matches) and found out acceptances from all already...
these are the only ones i really care about at this point! (and the only ones i am
nervously waiting on!)
*Columbia University
*Princeton University
*New York University

Please rank what you think of each of those schools!
If you want a chance back, let me know!

ALSO: will an interview (a good or bad one!) help drastically?!
please give some feedback on what you think, also, i would like some ED students to say if they had similar stats and were admitted/rejected/waitlist/etc..

haha what do you mean about columbia??
i know princeton is a huge long shot for me, but i applied nonetheless… but i only sent ACT and Subject Tests.
NYU, in? really? wow! =]

and about the school, yeah, really tough have to apply. only <12% or so applicants accepted each year (like eighth graders applying…)
we joke it’s as selective as an ivy!

you definitely have a chance at all these, i would say you have a greater chance at NYU of getting in than of not. also NYU’s acceptance rate is more like 30%

phew about NYU! i really really like that school, so i hope so!
and @rastafarian : what did you mean about columbia? the allegedly super hard curriculum??

@rastafarian about my columbia essay… not the best i’ve written, but definately unique and very personal/individual (in that it could only be about me!)
so i suppose that’s a good thing.
and i liked their little “interest” section. showed my diverse intersts.
only wished i could have put more in the additional info. =|

I also think that you have NYU in the bag. I think you have a pretty good shot at Columbia as well. Princeton on the other hand might be pushing it. But you never know. Good luck

I think your good at your schools the only reach reach is princeton. Also may i ask what high school are you talking about, because it sounds a lot like mine O_O! are you a classmate of mine???

I’d say that you’re in for NYU as well. My stats are much lower than that and it’s on my list as a reachish.
Columbia I’d say is like a 70% chance?
And as with Princeton, you could be everything they want and they could still reject you just because they have that power (and they know that).
