It's getting closer!

You can have stuffed animals, plenty of girls I know did.

I'm very tempted to send mail with the surprises that UNcynical did for me. :) Maybe some of you will find out. lol

In addition, if any of you have access to a computer on doolie day out and are willing to take a couple minutes, update us on your progress, vent if you wish ;), and tell us what squadrons you are going into! Easy way to get some goodies when its all over.

Ah, you know you liked it ;)

.... All I have to say to that is, good thing you don't know my post office box...

...he'll find it ...

Don't have to have the box number...names will do just fine :)

It's part of the true experience. What would life be like if you didn't get beat during BCT? It makes for great stories.

Yeah, but you'd have to figure out what our names are, first of all.

Hey, one day left, guys. Getting nervous?

Nervous and excited!! It just seems surreal... lol

Guess I'm one of the few still home... I head up tomorrow, and it begins on Thursday. :)

Im also still home. Flight leaves in O...6 hrs give or take. :). Best wishes 12'ers and fellow GOLDEN cadets, see you Thursday.
And one BIG thanks to all the cadets, Austin, Tyler..etc. Who shed some light on what can be some very dark situations for us wanabes..:), its been great. Seya ya all soon.

Good to know im not alone lol :) Yes, ill second that, thanks a lot to the cadets who helped us all out!!

I'll third that. Thanks to all the upperclassmen who have helped us through the beginning stages. We'll see ya'll soon.

This is my final post before Beast. My flight is at 11:25 EDT. So, it's been a pleasure to get to read and post with everyone, and I'll see ya'll on the other side. ;) And to the rest of 2011, I'll see (some of) you guys today and tomorrow.

Well, I guess that's it, I'm the only one left. I feel so lonely :( We start tomorrow- I can't believe it.
Class of 2011- see you at the footprints. Everyone else, see you on the other side :)

Well, they're on the way USAFA. Good luck to the cadre (Hornet, etc) working BCT this year - may this event provide you the training needed to become the real leaders of the Academy. Remember to apply the good stuff that cadre of the past have imposed on you (and not the bad) and to keep an eye out on the CC doolies that you have helped make it there in the first place.

Dropped off son to the airport earlier today - by now he and Falcons11 and others are probably winging thier way out of DFW on the last flight leg to COS. Hopefully these long distance travelers will have a good nights sleep tonight at thier AOG B & B's, ready to hit the ground running (literally) tomorrow!

Thanks again to all here at CC to supporting us.

Dknightfam

Best of luck to all the new Zoomies!!!

Thanks to everyone here who has helped out in this process.

We took son to the airport this morning. His flight to Chicago was fine, but last we heard the plane from O'Hare to COS was an hour past scheduled departure time, and still on the ground. Son said there were about 25 others on the plane bound for the Academy. Hopefully they can get out there at a decent time to get some food and a good night's sleep.

Good luck to the class of 2011! Parents, keep us posted with news.

Stealth_81

Last year, I flew from Albany to Chicago, and when I got to Chicago, found out my flight to COS was cancelled...so I spent 5 hours trekking all over Chicago searching for flights going to COS, and finally found one

Have fun tonight, anyone that is still on here in 2011, your last few hours of freedom are quickly dwindling away...

I will see you out on the T-zo bright and early from up in the Twin Otter-got my first jump tommorow! Safe to say I wont be getting a good nights sleep...

DOOLIE DAY OUT!! It rocks, eating at ease is the most amazing thing ever at this point.

199 days till Recognition!

:) haha, I'm not really counting the days yet, I promise. I saw that on 07PETKO's facebook and it made me smile. And I'm the queen of countdowns so I couldn't help it.

Strange as it seems, Recognition really isn't too far off. It's weird how fast and how slow time moves here.

83 days until Thanksgiving break!
