its good if....

under CARS in Bearfacts, it says that Minimum Amount Due Now and Minimum Due + Full Reg Fee are $0?
"Account Balance" isn't what we have to pay by 8/15, right?

(little worried here because i didn't do any of the e-bill stuff, i'm assuming that ucb automatically took out the amount that I had to pay by 8/15?)

did everyone here do e-bill? its not required, is it?

sorry for so many questions...:)

Heck I've been doing this a year and still am not sure what it all means sometimes.

My interpretation is that that line you indicated (Minimum Amount Due Now) is what you have to pay now, and if that's $0 you're good. The Account Balance is stuff that you'll eventually have to pay (IIRC, my Account Balance was something like $2000 at the beginning of the year for rent that was in May/April or something, so I didn't have to pay that portion until May/April).

I don't believe e-bill is required, but I recommend doing it. I hated sending checks to Billing and Payment Services all the time for stupid things like $10 to drop a class, $15 for a rush-order transcript, little things like that.

ok, i just signed up for the e-bill. it tells me that i still need to make a payment by 8/15. I don't get this!!! On bearfacts, minimum amount due now is $0!!!

How come I can't reach the billing and payments office over the phone. Their line is always busy!!! :(

I noticed this as well when I initially signed up for e-bill. I just ignored it, though. In the past when I've had paper statements indicating I needed to "pay" $0, I didn't send anything (obviously), and no bad ever came of it. I don't believe you have to worry. I mean, what could they possibly do? Charge you for not paying $0? That would be retarded.
