Lol – not hard to get a FT offer (except at Goldman). Of course I won’t “bring this attitude to work”, I’m not stupid. I know exactly how to act and present myself.

Only in your imagination. You couldn’t even get into Ross. How credible are you?

Didn’t apply to Ross smart guy – don’t much care for a vocational undergraduate education. Great try though.

Sounds like OP was dinged even before getting an interview invitation and now resents The Street.

False.

Absolutely not – looking forward to it actually. Just speaking the truth about a good chunk of the analyst role. Love how ya’ll are in denial.

I don’t mean to be a jerk… but before you comment on everything and critique people who have actual experience, you should recognize whether you have have the experience necessary to provide said commentary.

Even if you think you know what the job is like, you’ve never actually done it. It really just makes you seem full of yourself to speak the way you have.

Just some honest advice, the intention is not to reprimand you. You might find it comes in handy later.

I’m just speaking on the aggregate knowledge I’ve accumulated through conversing with many friends/acquaintances who work/have worked as BB analysts + information absorbed through researching the position/lifestyle (see: earlier in the thread).

I appreciate the effort to provide advice – this is an internet forum, the anonymity of which facilitates the ability to speak one’s mind without facing potential judgmental consequences.
