It's May 1. Do you know where you'll be next fall?

Just wondering if any fence sitters made a final decision and why they either chose or didn't choose Midd.....

Yeah. I sent in my deposit today. Midd all the way!!!

Ha, I had a really tough time choosing, but in the end, Middlebury had more positives. Strong English department, scenic Vermont, J-term, awesome people, the international scene… hah, and some other stuff. It’s so nice to know where I’ll be!

My son decided to attend Midd. It was his 1st choice & he had his heart set on Midd. He was also accepted into honors at Geneseo. I was originally pushing for him to attend there due to the cost factor. In the end I’m thrilled he’s attending Midd. I think it’s a better fit and a top notch educational community with great student/teacher ratio.

I think you made the right choice. Midd is a fantastic school all the way around. My son is a sophomore, working harder than ever but totally engaged in the academics, has great professors, and is incredibly busy and happy with all of the extracurriculars - radio show, intramural sports, debate. The school does an amazing job entertaining the kids on the weekends with plenty of social opportunities. He is having the time of his life and as parents, we couldn’t be happier .

Chosen Dartmouth over Midd!

gotta say… that’s reasonable… seems a lot of kids who go to either one of those schools also applied to the other. And frankly, for more than a few Midd students Dartmouth was a rejection. But as I always say about Dartmouth… you’re in good company if you get in and good company if you don’t! Congrats

Chlormel-you weren’t accepted to Midd! Waitlist doesn’t count…

Gotta say, these last three posts made me laugh out loud!

Chlormel, that’s like me saying “I chose being poor over being a billionaire” simply because I’m not a billionaire.
