its not fair

its not fair that some people take the old SAT and writing
writing curve was WAY easier
allso the OLDSat had a better math curve though i must admit verbal was a bit harder ( though they had a better curve to make up for it)

on the other hand the New SAT has ridiculously hard curves and on top of that u have to do all th sections in one sitting

i cant believe that some colleges will look at the Old SAT and writign and compare it to the New SAT on the same level....

im not saying that OLD SAT people should not get credit for doing well...but i mean cmon doing well on the New SAT should be looked at as better than doing well on the OLD SAT and writing

But, I think we shouldn't assume that colleges are complete idiots. They probably are aware of the changes in the curve/material, and will make their decisions accordingly.

hopefully u are right...

Uh - I think they directly compare the old Math/new math and old verbal/new CR scores. It seems fair to me.

Actually on the new tests, there are less questions thus the ratio of what you get is the same but its harder because the number of easier questions got cut while the hard ones are still there

Then when they get percentiles in the fall it will be evident that perhaps a 650 on the New SAT's = a 680 on the old SAT's or something...
