It's possible to go without finishing FAFSA verification process, yet the BOG Fee Waiver Accepted.

Applied for FAFSA. Have not received an award letter because the application was requested for verification and haven't gone to the Financial Aid office to complete the verification process. Now the summer semester is coming up and I need to get my classes asap so I registered 2 classes for summer and paid with a credit card, Now when the system calculated the total fees it said the class fees have been waived because apparently I qualified for the BOG Fee waiver and that I only have to pay the health fee. A friend of mine said the BOG fee waiver is separate from the aid FAFSA gives for example a pell grant or laons. Because the BOG Fee Waiver is aid from the state and they determined you qualify for aid. And that aid from FAFSA (pell grants or loans are just extra aid. Now by the looks of things I'm gonna have to pay the books etc out of my pocket.

You most likely will not receive any federal until the verification process is complete. Your best bet would be to ask your school how they handle the state aid part.

Get verification completed ASAP! Once it’s completed, if you’re eligible for a Pell grant, you should still be able to get it. But don’t delay!
