its pretty early, but i want some feedback

i would like to start researching for college now. I've been looking at some college rankings and do no know where to start this daunting task. Shoot me a list of colleges that you recommend.

currently, im a junior. My most recent projected psat score is around 1800 ( i forgot the raw score).

My gpa for freshman and sophmore year is 4.25 weighted, and im ranked 19/512.

So far i have 120+ hours of community service under my belt( church youth group, local hospital), and have participated in a bunch of clubs in the past two years. I have participated in no school sports, but will start this year. I have no job, (im still 15 with no ride so its kinda hard).

I would like to study anything in the medical field/ sciences. I would also like to stay on the East Coast (north or south). I want a fairly large sized college/university.

also, what kind of financial aid and merit can i be expecting? i really dont know anything about that whole process.

So please, anyone, recommend me some colleges that i may be qualified for so i may look into them. thanks

So right now you're at about a 1200 with 2 sections, right? Raise that to a 1300-1350, and you can look into schools like Wake Forest, UNC-Chapel Hill, University of Florida, Florida St, Texas (although that's too far west), Vanderbilt, Emory, Miami (FL), Ohio State, Syracuse, Penn State, Maryland, George Washington, Boston University, etc. Just make sure to keep that GPA high as hell, and keep up with the Extracurriculars. Good luck though.

thanks king james (gotta love lebron)

More feedback everyone!!!

anyone? just list some schools that are matches

If your remain 5% with a 1200 +, you can get into almost all state colleges on the east coast.

PSAT scores are often misleading. I got 177 PSAT, but a 1930 SAT. I know people who dropped 150-+ points too.

just a few more responses please. recommendations for good schools etc

Unless you are from NC, that SAT score is going to have to be in the 1450+ range to be even close to competitive at UNC-CH out of state.

thanks . anymore suggestions
