Thanks guys, you Rock!

Class rank is ~ top 5/311 not official

I’ll chance back as well

Your academics are relatively weak compared to other applicants applying to those schools (just a little. get your SAT up a bit and your SAT II Bio up to 770ish and I think it looks good) Your ECs are also a bit lacking and I think you’re lacking in significant awards. Try to participate in major competitions (since you’re interested in chem, try aiming for ICho).

All in all, most of the schools you listed as still mid reaches. The reason why I say this is that there are a lot of high scoring Asians (Indians) which have much higher academic scores than you do. You need to separate yourself from the bunch

If you’ve time, chance mine: Mine[/url”>http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1179672-chance-me-ivy-league-please.html]Mine

You have good ec’s and an excellent gpa keep it up! Now you just need a good SAT or ACT score it seems; still ivies aren’t a shoe-in make sure to have safeties just in case a 31 or above ACT/ above 2100 SAT is competitive

Chance me too? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1181068-chance-me-usc-rice-cal-poly.html</a></p>

sorry for being late, but yeah i agree with deviant. your ec’s are a little lacking, but your gpa is good, and considering that you get 2300 on your SAT’s, you should be set for most of the colleges you listed

Thanks guys for your thoughts :). Love your feedback. @deviantkid how do I find and enter these competitions if my school doesn’t offer them

it all really depends on what your school offers. if its a rural school with few AP’s i’d say you’re doing pretty well for yourself! and i’m kinda jealous of your summer activities. Try and find depth in your extracurriculars also! You’re going on the right path, definitely.

Chance Back!
http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1181466-chance-guy-anti-hook.html</a></p>

Thank you for your remarks. @Orc I am taking every ap my school offers. All other classes are honors

Any suggestions for other schools, HYPS are what I hope for but i love Wharton too,

Bump bump bump

Keep up the good work, take the SAT, see what you get. For EC’s try to intern somewhere or in a field you want to major in.

Great chances at Michigan.
Good chances at Cornell.

All other schools in your list are reach schools for you and for everybody.

You will surely get into UMich, Cornell, and UChicago (if you write good essays), IMO. I will say that you should and probably get into at least one of the best. Keep it up and good luck.

Obviously that list of schools are tough to get into, but you are well on your way to be competitive for most of them, and probably into a few

You’re on your way to being an extremely competitive apploicant for many of these schools. however, do realize that there are many variables on SAT testing day and that a 2300 practice does not necessarily equate to an actual 2300. in that aspect, i have the exact same problem lol.

also, your ECs might be a BIT weak, but i really like where you’re going with the internships and shadowing. that’s DEFINITLY a step in the right direction. keep doing stuff like that and you will FOR SURE be competitive.

chance me too, please! http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1182115-chance-junior-help-cut-down-my-ridiculous-college-list.html</a></p>

Thanks for the kind words guys, I’m taking the real sat in October, so hopefully it works out like that

Any more thoughts??

Bump 10char

You are shooting for the top schools, so you never know, but it reads like you’ll get into a decent number of them. The internship is what jumps most out of your EC’s, so I’d imagine you’d want to portray that as something you have a passion in, learned a lot from. etc. Maybe even get a letter of rec. from one of the people you were working for.
