It's that time. Early decision (ED) results?

I applied ED as well, but I never got a confirmation email with my log in information! I called admissions last week and they said I should receive it soon. Should I call again tomorrow? Did you all receive confirmation emails?

@97college‌ I received my confirmation mail one day after submitting my app.
I think you should get in touch with the office again, since you’ll need access to your portal to view your decision.

This wait is killing me.

The school I almost applied ED I to instead of Vassar (Middlebury) just released their decisions… :/

@97college There are very responsive to emails. And it probably annoys them less.

does anyone else’s application status page say:

We would like to remind you to make arrangements to have your mid-year grade report sent to us if you have not already done so. If you will not be able to provide the required materials, or if you have questions about your missing materials, we ask that you call the Office of Admission at 800-827-7270 or email us at admissions@vassar.edu .

not sure if this means something is missing (even though everything shows as received on the checklist)

@catlover97 it’s said that from the beginning, so it’s not just you. (I’m a gap year applicant so I don’t even have mid-year grades haha)

Regarding the mid-year report, Vassar’s site says, “Students admitted during Early Decision I or II will also be asked to provide their first semester grades as soon as they become available.”

Our D’s best friends learned yesterday they were accepted to William & Mary ED. College notification season has definitely started.

Does anyone know if Vassar is still updating their online checklist?

I took the January SAT and the November SAT. It says on their website that they received my scores on Oct. 28th, but it has not been updated to indicate that my Nov. scores were received. I checked on collegeboard, and their website shows that my scores have been sent on Nov. 23rd or something (I ordered the scores to be sent when I registered for the test).

Also, I rushed my scores to URichmond after the scores came out, and got an email from UR saying that they’ve received my scores.

Who submitted a Your Space supplement, and if so, what did you submit?

I submitted a poetry portfolio

i submitted a short movie i made in the style of wes anderson

hi guys! ed1 applicant, not the highest gpa but good test scores and a huge interest in theatre so we’re hoping things work out. quick clarification, have we deduced that we’re more likely to find out on friday the 12th or monday the 15th?

@pleasetakeme12‌ we haven’t deduced anything. Judging by Vassar’s history of releasing decisions on Mondays, many people here are assuming the 15th.

For what it’s worth, I am waiting for two emails that are supposed to be sent about a week before admission decisions are released. I have not received either email yet.

expecting 15th, hoping for 12th :(

@nervoustudent‌, I saw your video and it was brilliant!!! I saw it about a month ago and I was trying to find it to show to my daughter. Very well done!

@wherezwallace‌ thank you so much! glad you enjoyed it!!

I sent my screen-printed t-shirts that I sell on Etsy and local stores around where I live!

A week until what is theoretically the latest they’d release decisions, and still no emails… http://i48.■■■■■■■.com/1o6q80.gif

I’m so scared haha
