It's that time of year again...

Picking out schedules :(

But woot! Senior year :D

Anyway, right now I have:

AP Literature
AP Gov/Econ
Physics H
Journalism
AP Calc BC

I do not want to take math, but I guess I have to :(

Anyway, I plan to have 6 classes (you can have 7, but...it's senior year :D Plus I have sports and whatnot) so I am debating what my sixth class should be.

My options that I am considering:
AP Stats
Contemp Lit (I LOVE lit)
Art 2 (I like art too...wanted to take it sophomore year but my mother made me take business :/)
Leadership (run for class office or apply for commissioner...)
AP French (but I find french terribly boring...but I have taken 4 years of it :/)

What a dilemna! What do you guys suggest :(

i would say either AP stats or AP French......AP stats because its (supposively) an easy AP and you get AP credit or AP French because most colleges reccommend foreign language all through high school

Stats is just about the most useful class I've ever taken (at least for scientific research, but I'm pretty sure it'd be useful for the humanities too).

Scheduling is my least favorite time of year, ugh. Guidance at my school has no idea what's going on and we're on block scheduling, which complicates things. Right now, I want to take...

AP Gov
AP Macroeconomics
AP Physics
AP Calculus
Formality Singers
Spanish III

I hate it, because Calculus and Physics are year-long classes, which makes them the equivalent of four courses, not two. Chorus is a full year, as well. Spanish III is happening online.

And to tako, I'd say take something you love and go with Contemporary Lit or Art. You've already got four years of French - I don't think one more year is going to make a huge difference when it comes to impressing colleges.

Scheduling for next year was relatively painless for me (rising senior); all the interesting classes at my school are pretty much just the AP's so I've marked them off as I've done them. The other classes are either self-study material (thus there is better use for the block) or fillers (yes, public school is depressingly boring sometimes). I love the courses I'm taking next year, and the teachers teaching them as well! I am, quite frankly, excited for senior year!

AP French Language
AP English Literature
AP Biology
AP Psychology
AP Human Geography
AP Art History
AP Statistics
Law 12 (or Student Government, we call it Council up in big old Canada, if I get elected crosses fingers)

AP English Lit
AP Spanish Language
AP Calc BC
AP Bio
AP P/G/Eco
Band
American Sign Language 3/4
Japanese 2
Phys. Ed.

I really want to have those 3 foreign langauges. I'm willing to change AP Bio for AP Psych and perhaps even AP Physics, AP Calc AB for BC, and AP Span Lang for Lit to make my schedule work. I really wish we would have 10 period days so I could fit both Spanish APs. </3
