How are you guys feeling right now? I'm very very nervous. My goal is to achieve a 1800+. What are your guy's goals and thoughts?

2300+, and I get an itouch 4g :)

I want 2300…but it’s more likely that I’ll end up with something in the 2200’s. Super nervous :(

Any seniors taking their last shot for Early Decision schools? Super nervous here as well, I’m hoping for a 2300+

Lol, you guys have some major high goals. Well, a 1950 would be my tip-top achievement. I believe i may get a 2000+. :)

Goal: 2350+

1350 on M+CR, don’t really care about writing haha. Last shot to improve for my ED to NYU.

Hoping for a 2200+, would make me ecstatic, although I don’t think I’ll get it. GL everyone!

Twenty Four Hundred.

If I get a 2300+ I will not only scream very loudly in the morning, but will brag about it for about 2 months and make fun of the seniors who took it and got lower scores. Then, I will get yelled at my parents for bragging about a not-perfect score.

But if I get ANYTHING less, I will feel a sense of disappointment–a prepared, predicted feeling, because of my anticipation of the more likely outcome. If I get a 2300, I got lucky. And if 2400 then I will probably stop agnosticism and regularly attend church in immense gratitude to the divine force.

And then, If I get a 2300+, and get rejected from Yale/Harvard, with my 4.0 GPA and extensive extracurriculars I will be happy, because that means I can confidently say to my parents’ faces: ***k you, you were wrong, I told you so.

^LOL u got it all planned out.
2250+ for me

^ I love your comment! I’m going to be humble about my score! I think a 1800+ for me is a good score! You guys all plan to go to an ivy?

People on this website overestimate the privilege to attend an Ivy League Institution for undergrad. It’s really not all that big a deal. It’s a big deal, however, for graduate school. Just remember that whether it’s an ivy or a top 30 college, just do great and you’ll go far!!! Remember: it’s not the institution that will bring you far, it’s your effort. That sounds cheesy but every letter of every word in the previous assertion is true. So, people on this damn website need to realize that only themselves matter when it comes to practicality, not the college they attended. 30 years after graduation, no one will give a damn where you went. Instead, they’ll see the end product: the type of person you have become.

My goal is to simply break 2K. Anything less, my girlfriend will break up with me.

This will be my first time taking it. I hope I can break 2300. I agree with papapia’s advice.

Main goal: 750+ on reading (shouldn’t be too hard)
Secondary goal: 2300+

This is my second time taking the SAT. I’m hoping for 2000+

Good luck, everybody.

so whos posting up the answer thead after the embargo is lifted?

there’s an embargo for the SAT like for the AP? please elaborate
