college ed, accepted

dost...accepted huntsman....i wont lie to you, im in the mood that i will get accepted....too bad the admissions committee's moods dont coincide with mine (or do they?)

lol.

Ok. i am gonna do a final prediction a few days from D-day.

Catch- rejected Huntsman, I really have no idea about Wharton...acceptance is what I am leaning towards.

i'm beginning to think that my application is so much on the fence that it's really going to depend upon the current feelings of the admission board (down to the minutes in which they spend reviewing my app). There's a lot of strong stuff, but one weak spot that seems to be interpreted by everyone on these boards as virtually "unadmittable". So, my final prediction is I have no final prediction (cf. Woody Allen's: The meaning of life is that no one knows the meaning of life.) If what some people on a few of these boards say is true, then that one factor will definitely keep me out--but if what i'm hoping happens is true, the committee will really look at my total picture.

what part of the app is that?

math sat. taken twice, score remained at 540...verbal was 1 question away from perfect.

ah... yeah that is definitely an issue. I could see a deferal but I think acceptance would be a long shot. Not to bring you down...

no it's cool man, i'm kind of expecting a def...i sort of know that i'm a long shot...but i have a lot of stuff in there that they'll hopefully like...lot of good things going..you know, so if i don't get in-- i'll know exactly why pretty much.

how was your math satii brocky?

pretty consistent 570 on the Ic

chocolatechip87-college, defer---im almost sure :(

join the legions of potential deferees
like myself.

memz005, wharton ED, accepted.

^in a good mood right now

holy crap i should sleep...

postpump

PUMP!! Gotta beat those Columbia suckers.

swings fist Damn the 60 second rule...I was planning to de a blitzkerg on the forum...:(

I agree....
bump....

If you're clearly planning on going into a field that isn't math-related at all and the rest of your application is really strong I can see them turning the other way on your math score.
