How do admissions offices view students who have taken the most advanced classes offered by their highschool, but no APs/college courses, because of availability? Does this put me at a disadvantage?

Most admissions officers say no, it does not put you at a disadvantage. It's not your fault that your school doesn't offer them, and you can't take what they don't have.

my sschool doens't have a lot, but i took them independently and went on my own, which apparently is very appealing to colleges (i got into 8 out of 9 schools)
