I just hope they actually notify us on March 1st and don’t do what they did two years ago and pushed it further into april
Yeah if they pushed it to April I would be so annoyed. I have a 30 ACT and 4.0 GPA. Lots of EC’s. I just recieved H & H award which was nice, but there is still a large remainder.
is that weighted or unweighted? And your stats look really good especially with ecs, i think they’re just narrowing it down throughout the month until march 1st hopefully

thats great and me too! i’ve had really nice offers from other schools but id be super disappointed if i couldn’t go to IU
Did you get any other money besides the Deans Scholarship?
I applied for a few from the SSA but I haven’t heard back, I’m not sure if they’ve given those out, if so I didn’t receive any so without the fry I most definitely won’t attend IU sadly
I’m really rooting for you guys. Hang in there. As others have said they are probably still evaluating, and I’d have to guess that all of those who have been awarded may not necessarily attend IU, which theoretically could open up additional opportunities for others.

Not me. I got the email Feb4 and I still have not heard back yet. Do you think this is a bad thing or a good thing? Low key it could be good because they’re making last minute picks, but another part of me thinks that they have everything figured out and are just waiting to deny. I am freaking out cuz IU is my first pick, and i cant afford it without Fry.
Same. Fry is the only way I can go to Indiana and it’s my top pick. I don’t know what’s going to happen Friday.

No one has any idea. That’s why I started this thread because I was trying to look at the timeline of Fry from last year and there was nothing.
I suspect we’ll hear something by Friday or early part of next week. Just a guess though based on them wrapping up process this month.

I think it’s in the middle. Because there are people who have heard that didn’t get the scholarship. And I guess they’re not doing interviews for this round?
Honestly, I think it is a long shot for those of us waiting to hear. There is just not that many they award (8-9%) of the total pool of applicants. Maybe the bulk of them have already been awarded but they are trying to firm up commitments from the awarded students with the rest of us as back-ups. Who knows. There’s not much information on the process and therefore difficult to predict. However, until a denial has been communicated, there’s still life. Also, there are still dean’s council scholarships to be awarded.
