When do we expect to start hearing early petition Acceptances? I thought it was Nov 8th in the past?

They say that they will take my highest gpa but I don’t know if they will recalculate it or not. Has anyone else with similar stats gotten direct admission without petitioning?
You meet the direct admit criteria with the w4.02 GPA (as long as the wGPA is on your trancript) and 1410 SAT, so no need to petition. IU will not recalculate your GPA, they take the highest GPA off your transcript. Did you apply to a Kelley major?
Yeah I applied as a business major. And the 4.02 weighted gpa is on my transcript. Some guy on reddit keeps saying that they will recalculate my gpa so I just wanted to confirm. Thanks.

You should be good for direct admit. Best to stay off Reddit…IU couldn’t be more clear on their Kelley direct admit page that they take the highest GPA off the transcript. Good luck with IU and the rest of your applications!

Petitions only look at your stats and what’s in your petition application, your weighted on a 4.0 scale is all that matters plus your test score. I think you’ll be fine

I am completing the direct admit petition essays right now and have a 4.00 unweighted for all of highschool and applied test optional. I do not know how late I am and I am wondering what my chances are. My sat score is 1190 tho
