IU Kelley School and others

Hi! Could someone chance me for getting into Indiana University, Wisconsin, Michigan, Michigan State, South Carolina.

I am interested in studying business, so I would like to get into the business schools at these universities.

I am a junior in high school from Michigan

Male

ACT: 29 (35 English, 28 Reading, 28 Math, 26 Science) SUPERSCORE: 30 (All of those are my highest with the exception of my highest reading being a 31)

Class Rank: 1/463 (66/1521)

1 SAT Subject Test: 740 on US History

UW GPA: 3.92
Weighted GPA: 4.0667 (my school only adds weight to AP classes, not honors)

AP courses: AP US HISTORY (5 on exam), AP Stats (taking this year), AP MICRO/MACRO ECONOMICS (taking this year), next year I plan to take AP Psych, AP Physics, AP Calc AB, AP Spanish

Extras:
will have 300+ hours of community service
Student Congress (school improvement committee chair, KLAA Representative)
Unified Sports (helped disabled kids play sports) for two years
Key Club
NHS
Counselor at a camp for kids with muscular dystrophy
Varsity Tennis and Varsity Golf

Thanks!

With your current stats you would be autoadmit for IU Kelley. Probably need to get your ACT higher for Michigan. I would think competitive for the others. May also want to add Ohio State - similar to others on your list and good bus school. Good luck.

bump

Your ACT is below average for both South Carolina and Michigan; I’d try to get a 31 single-sitting to be safe. I say that you’ll get accepted at all of the others.

Good luck! Chance me back?

@writergirl0316 where do you see that my ACT is low for South Carolina? From what I’ve seen, it is average?

I’m sorry, I looked at it too quickly and thought you said USC for some reason. Disregard my comment on that one then!

IU- admit
MSU- admit
USC- admit
UWM- admit (probably-- bump up act score a few points to get near definite admission)
UM- wl (being instate helps you, but you need to bump up act score and do more business-related EC’s, michigan is a tough school)
