I don't know, they just think that i'm getting into Michigan, and don't have a backup plan. I don't see eye-to-eye with them, they have money that they don't want to spend. I'm the only kid who has had decent grades in my family, everyone else has had lower than a 3.0 and lower than a 1000 on the SAT. I try talking to them, and they just say "You're getting into Michigan", or "You can just go to WCC and transfer anywhere you want, your credits will transfer fine." I just wish I had the freedom to go where I want to. We'll see what IU gives me aid wise. Money talks.

whats ur efc if u dont mind my asking? if u submitted the fafsa by march 1st, IU says it could give you the best chance and oppurtunity for a gud fin. aid package. since you're a direct admit student to the business school and all it shows you're academic credentials are higher than the average applicant so im sure they're gona "invest" in you somehow or try to give u a decent aid package so you can afford it, if u do decide to attend IU are u gona apply for any private loans like Sallie Mae? im probaly gona have to regardless of what my aid package is gona be. tat oos tuition is prety big.

I didn't know we could apply for loans, I thought they were included in our FA package. But yeah, i'd definitely attend if they met all of my need, as I have a low EFC.

well usually for college, like in ur financial aid package its got u know grants and gov. loans and work study but if tat package doesnt cover all your're need, u can apply for a student loan from a private bank. usually the school has a deal with the bank to get u a competitive loan with low interest rate etc. for example IU has a deal with sallie mae to give private loans to students. the private loan is usually made to cover whatever cost is left over after taking into consideration the fin. aid package. one thing im scared bout IU is that they dont cover 100% of need i tink it hovered around 60% but of course every student is different depending on their status in regards to IU.
