I just submitted my transfer application to IU Bloomington but now I’m worried about my essay. I was accepted as a freshman last year, and this first semester at Ball State I earned a 4.0 GPA, but rereading my essay I fear that it’s mediocre/average at best. How important is the essay for transfer students at IU/similar schools?
