<p>Decision between IU and Univeristy of Kentucky---any advice or opinions?</p>
<p>What do you want to major in? Which state do you live in?</p>
<p>I think IU is better across the board, but some departments at UK will be stronger than IU, and vice versa, so it would depend on what youre going for.</p>
<p>Business (but was not a DA to Kelley), and may be interested in Mechanical Engineering (yes, I know IU does not have engineering) or math education. Math is the common strand–just not sure how to apply this academic strenght to the “real world” at this point. Ohio resident, so no tuition break either way.</p>
<p>For business or math education I would go with IU due to rankings/job opportunities. However, you should be sure to visit both schools and talk with a couple students at each. You need to decide where you would fit in best and take that into consideration as well.</p>
