<p>Hi everyone! I just finished my application to Jacobs… I swore I’d never be one of those people who freaked out and obsessed over their acceptance/rejection, but here I stand, corrected.</p>
<p>It’s the 3rd round and I’m just now applying because I spent a year in Africa with no internet and didn’t have the chance to apply anywhere (silly, silly me!). Earlier posts here have me nervous. I just keep telling myself, hey, if not Jacobs than some other awesome college or gap life awaits. Maybe you can sympathize, but this just doesn’t make me feel any better.</p>
<p>I guess my main concern now is my math scores. I got a 540 on the SAT and 26 on the ACT math sections. I got a 2100/32 overall and am a National Merit Scholar. I don’t know, what’s done is done, I haven’t been in high school for a looong while. I need aid money, I’m a registered independent (read basically homeless) student.</p>
<p>Anyone else applying to Jacobs right now?</p>
