I've applied, but not received a confirmation?

I sent my application to UCONN about two weeks ago. Other colleges have sent me a confirmation that they have received my application via both mail and e-mail, yet I have received nothing from UCONN, what's the deal?

Not sure. Call the admissions office tomorrow morning to verify.

They will send you a letter in the mail confirming they received it and let you know if anything is missing. It takes a few weeks after you apply. They do not post or communicate by email.

My son just received an e-mail from UConn stating that his application is complete, so they do in fact e-mail you. He applied late September though, so it took a long time to get that e-mail!

Son also got an e mail last week saying his app was complete. He sent his app in first week of october (EA).

me too, last week, sent app in sept

Weird, I never got an email from Uconn…but I got accepted this past weekend, so they clearly got my application! Don’t worry about it :P

If you’ve been admitted, please put your information here: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/university-connecticut/812385-admissions-results-reference.html

kaylala, did you receive your acceptance by e-mail, regular mail, phone call? Also when did you apply? Has anyone else been accepted yet?

Does UConn require that mid year grades be sent in ? Thanks.

Ohio929496, I got my acceptance by regular mail, no email ever from them. Interesting, huh! And I applied a couple weeks after I sent in my commonapps… so it must have been the last week of October. Way before the Dec 1 deadline…haha

And MBJ, I’m not sure what they require… I know though that my high school sends in 1st term and 2nd term grades, but they don’t send in the midyear exam grades or the average of all of these. I assume it should be similar for other schools as well. But keep in mind I also applied early action. I’d check online. :)

Good luck to everyone! Maybe I’ll see you all at UConn soon! :)

We did not receive any conformation email or mail but got admission package in mail.

MBJ: do not think school sent the first quarter grades of the senior year and no mid-year grades yet.

I received a letter stating they recieved my application and to send my SATs if I hadn’t already. I received this two weeks after submitting the app. Most of my friends who applied have heard a decision within 5 weeks of submission. I applied mid Nov so expect to hear right around Christmas time.
