I have three colleges I would consider going to if I do not get admissions elsewhere. I’m going to copy paste stats again.
I am applying to just have more options? Is it worth it? MHC I’ll have to pay a app fee for.

Hofstra Uni
I went to a Hofstra college visit at my school and because of that, I’ve been receiving tons of emails from them. It seems like they realllly want applicants to apply. This is probably the only university I’ve had send me a lot of emails asking me to apply and get up in my face about it. Frankly, I find it amusing and their tactics are working- they send me a free application waiver so I’m tempted to just apply since I’m not going to pay for the app fee. However, Hofstra is a private uni and from the looks of their scholarships, I think I’d get at best their Presidential Scholarship ($21,500-$27,000 per year), which is still great.
Here is the link, if you want to check it out: http://www.hofstra.edu/admission/adm_firstyear_scholarship.html
Mount Holyoke
I’m already applying to Bryn Mawr and I know they are both apart of the seven sister colleges. I’m not really concerned about costs at the moment. It’d be nice to get a merit scholarship, but I know that will not be the case.
My parents are refusing to file the FAFSA even though they filed for my older sister. So, we will be paying for everything out of pockets. We’ve got quite a bit saved up so we could essentially pay for all of undergrad. The question is should I apply? It seems like MHC has less males on campus because it’s in the middle of nowhere? I haven’t actually visited either BMC or MHC so I can’t say. It appears like BMC also allows cross registration with Swathmore and Penn plus join registration with Haverford… I can’t say. But, the middle 50% stats are roughly the same for BMC and MHC…
