Hello i've attended 3 different high schools in the same city without moving my residence. Does this help, do nothing, or hurt me in college applications?

(First highschool) forced to leave as a new high school was made and i lived in the boundaries for it.
(Second Highschool) left after one year because they couldn't offer any AP courses or the language class i was enrolled in at my first highschool due to recession.
(Third Highschool) currently at now. Would have returned to my first high school, but it was overcrowded. currently in 5 AP courses and French 3

Your situation is not unique, so admission committees would not be surprised when they see your application. In practice admission committees would compare courses and grades relative to other students from your school. It’s that much harder to do that when there are three schools involved. The junior year and the first semester of the senior year are the most important in applications, and it appears that you would have been in one (your current) school for these, so at least that will make it easier.

All this said, you and your guidance counselor may want to add a note explaining the situation that you’ve changed schools, and your reasons for moving.
