Two days ago, I found out I was deferred from Fordham University and since I'll be placed in the Regular Decision pool now, I wanted to know if I could update my Common App and send that in as my regular decision application. I've recently been selected to participate in a renowned program at my school and I wanted to include that, also, I changed my essay dramatically. Its the same topic/event but represents a new idea about myself. Please help me out, I don't think that just sending in my mid-year grades can help me too much with being accepted by Fordham.

As far as I know you can send things that are new like awards and a letter detailing why you think Fordham is still for you. I don’t think you can send an update on essays. You could call the school to ask.

I agree, the essay is locked in but you can email your admissions officer with any updates to your application.
