I've been offered CAP and Blinn Team, What should I do?

This is my first post as I just got my college decisions and am quite disappointed and conflicted. I only applied to three colleges which were Texas A&M, UT, and University of Houston as I am a Texas resident from Houston. My test scores and class rank weren’t too bad yet I still didn’t get into A&M or UT so now I have to weigh my options.
I really wanted to go to UT under a bio major but expected to be placed in the CAP program because of the top 8% rule UT has. I’ve done a lot of research on their CAP program and if I were to accept it I would likely chose to go to UTSA but a lot of what I’ve seen on forums and other sites are not good. CAP seems to be a lot of work, waste of time, money and unorganized.
I was also excited to possible be an Aggie and thought I had a fairly good chance of getting admitted but I guess the bio major was too competitive. I was offered Blinn Team which I don’t know much about but seems to be similar to the CAP program of UT. The Blinn Team however seems to be more lenient and have a better experience with Texas A&M as you are still admitted as a part time student at A&M but I’m not really sure about the requirements and if Blinn is any good.
Lastly, the University of Houston was my safety school so I wasn’t surprised that I got in. At first I hated the idea of going to UofH but after being denied admission to my preferred choices, it doesn’t seem to bad compared to the paths UT and A&M offer. Plus it’s less expensive and the medical center in Houston offers way more oppurnties for course work and volunteering than A&M and UT since I want to go into medicine. I’m just not sure what to do. Are Cap and Blinn Team worth it? Should I go to UofH and transfer later if I still want to go to those colleges? How do these programs work?

Blinn Team is a good offer from TAMU. You’re correct that you’ll be more connected to TAMU. You are essentially an A&M student with all the opportunities for athletics passes, student organizations, greek life etc… as non Blinn team. The CAP program at UT an opportunity to attend a system school for the statewide UT system. TAMU also offers system school admissions to students not admitted to the CS campus.

I’m in the same position. I personally think Blinn Team is a better option since you are still on the same campus. This gives Blinn students the opportunity to build relationships with future professors and staff. In contrast, CAP program requires students to move campuses. CAP might hinder the educational experience as you have to build new relationships and worry about settling into a completely new environment. UofH was my safe school, but CAP or Blinn would still be a better option than full admission at UofH.

Blinn Team will save you a lot more money, so if I were in your position, I know what I would pick!
