"quilde you're not important enough for god to intervene" --wait for it

its called faith qwilde you obviously have none so why even write that. even if the most miraculous thing popped up you would pass it off as some scientific anomaly.

if God explicitly showed himself to man, then everyone would believe. The entire purpose of life is to have faith in God and do good so that when he does show himself you will be ready...Having faith is the reason people are allowed into heaven.

Okay, just as urbf w/e her name is said so uneloquently: God is omnipotent but we have will power. Therefore he gave us life and we are allowed to do with it what we want. See with that will power some of us chose to make atomic bombs (people like you) and some of us idealists try to make the world better (i.e. me). See praying won't save you but believing in something makes the difficult times easier.

God cannot be both omnipotent and partially all-powerful. If we have free-will then god will not know what we will do tommorrow and subsequently is not all-powerful and cannot exist.

No, yourbf--whatever...get a better name-- even if the most miraculous thing DIDNT happen 2 billion times, but happened once out of those 2 billion and one times, you'd claim it to be a miracle and praise god, yet you wont blame him for religious deaths. and therein lies the brainwashing power of religion.

You might need to use religion as a crutch to do good. You are acting for your self interest as you do good to further your own causes for going to heaven. How does that make me (someone who cares because of the ideal of caring) worse than you (someone who cares because caring will further their chances of being in heaven)?

And religious people make the world better right? You know AIDS can be cured by sitting in a room and chanting for god. Its just a little known fact.

i dont know where youre going with that?

God knows when a person's time is up so he decides when people die and when they dont...

"if God explicitly showed himself to man, then everyone would believe. The entire purpose of life is to have faith in God and do good so that when he does show himself you will be ready...Having faith is the reason people are allowed into heaven."

oh, so now you know the purpose of life. you're SO AMAZING AT MAKING STUFF UP!!! seriously dude, you're ridiculous.

Basically, if god is omnibenevolent AND omnipotent, there should be no suffering in the world that does not result of human free will. It remains that there IS suffering. So...either God is a douche and wants people to suffer, or he can't prevent it. Pick, religous people, make your choice.

there are empirical evidences out there that supports science, and others that supports the creation theory.

Now tell me what are these "others"? Because if so you have put an end to this massive conflict. You might even get a nobel peace prize you know. Penn will like that a lot too. Come one spill... I wanna see some proofs that god exists. I will write your nomination to the nobel committee.

"If god truly exists, he will intervene. I will give god ten minutes to provide us all proof of god's existence. If god does not respond god does either not want us to know god exists or does not exist. If god does not want us to know god exists then god does not exist, as gods are worthy or our worthship."

do not test thy lord...lol.

Dude, they obviously can't understand what you just said. They'll just go back to the whole "God is great" argument with NO real argument at all.

its called faith qwilde you obviously have none so why even write that. even if the most miraculous thing popped up you would pass it off as some scientific anomaly.

I do have faith, as previously stated, but not in god. I have a more important faith: in love and in humanity.

Again what throughly irritates me about your religion is that when I do good it is out of the kindness of my heart (cliche): it is not because I believe I am going to be rewarded by being offered a place in Heaven. I do it because I believe it is right. Yet I am going to hell and a person whom slaughters people then begs for god's forgiveness is granted a place in heaven.

okay fine ....you guys win...your right and we're wrong....

Yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Agreed. even though you were being sarcastic, what you wrote is true. we won.

*you're or you are

Jyankees, LET MY PEOPLE GOOOOOOOOO

God still didn't smite us...I'm disappointed

Edit: lol 1666 posts. Eat that, religious people. I'm the antichrist.

Religion has major flaws; God can not be proven; and faith is an excuse for lack of facts and a way to ease the human mind.

Major points argued (i know there were many others).
