regular: Princeton, Yale, Harvard, Stanford, Cornell, UPenn, Brown, RPI, USC, Carnegie Mellon, Columbia, Northwestern, and Washington U. in St. Louis

Key notes to remember: i have aunts who are admissions officers at Columbia and Cornell(both graduates), really only screwed up junior year so my councelor says that if i have a strong first semester i will be fine, she also said along with many other people(please dont see this as arrogant, i just want to calm my fear of not getting into any of these fine colleges by asking your opinion with the most information i can give u) that my character and personality is whats going to get me all the way in

So, what do you think my results will be as far as admissions goes?
As promised, I will chance you guys as well if u give me a link in your post!\
Thanks guys for helping me through these stressful times!!

Who knows. You applied, so you will know soon enough. Tulane should be no problem, though. The others are unpredictable for almost everyone, except RPI and USC. You will be OK at RPI and probably OK at USC.

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/massachusetts-institute-technology/939227-reminder-no-one-not-even-me-can-give-you-accurate-chance-mit.html

I think that is what I said.

Archen, I think you have a great shot at R.P.I… Be careful though as they have become quite selective over the last 6-7 years. They mostly look at M+CR for the SAT. The 25th - 75th percentile for the Class of 2014 was 1280 - 1450 so your 1400 gives you a good start.

Overall I think you will get in but there was a “what’s with RPI” thread last year because applicants with stats even better than yours were being deferred or rejected.

You’ve got an awesome list of schools there but make sure you have some safeties.

Wasn’t this a song in the early 90’s by Bobby Brown or something?

MITChris, back me up on this.

You have a shot as all do. Make sure the coach sends a support letter. Your ACT/Sat II may be a bit weak tho. chance me back for MIT!

this makes no sense. If you can chance someone else, why not chance yourself? lol

I’m always really tempted to post my stats in response to these threads and see how many of the OPs think I’m going to get into MIT :)

That would be pretty funny actually.

Go for it!
