:), No the SPS website. Where he was going to give me some proof he got into SPS

Does he really need to give proof?

Idk about you…but by now I’d be sick of myself and try to prove me wrong. If I wasn’t lying. If I was…then I’d keep ignoring my posts and just never mention SPS again :P

What?? Your last post was confusing…

Well I got accepted. As a matter of fact, earlier today (after Watertester asked what that was for) my dad and I were laughing. I can, and easily at that, copy/paste and voila, you get what you want.

Maybe it is because I am too cocky, but I don’t give a rat’s ass if you do not validate me as “worthy”. You can continue believing that I did not get into SPS, but I won’t “prove my worth” to some random guy on a forum.

Fine with me…But I’m not the only one who doesn’t really believe you. Just wanted to let ya know…it’s funny to read posts of kids like you who think they’re smart. I mean it’s brutally obvious right now, now it makes me wonder how many of those school you ACTUALLY got into. As long as you can feel big and bad over the computer I guess that’s all that matters And it’s not really proving your worth…it’s proving that your not a little liar. Lying about petty things is something kids in high school will catch, and then it won’t be to much fun.

P.S: Me and my dad spend some nights reading and laughing over posts on CC every now and then too :)

Ok. Well, when I am sitting at one of my schools one day you may think I am not in. Again, it makes no difference in my life. At all. Of course I know that there are many people a lot smarter than me, I don’t know what you are getting at.

I would like to be on good terms with you, you seem like a really cool kid, but I will not sit and “prove that I am not a liar” for you. Enough people, smart people, believe me and I really don’t care if you do not.

Edit: And if I was lying I would say I got into one of my top choices, which rejected me. And though it was never my top choice peddie rejected me also. I have no intention of “seeming big” over some forum. I have plenty of friends, all of them like me, and I don’t need cyber friends (though I have made some really cool friends on this forum!).

Alright maaan. If that was a case you would have said it in the first place. Not “I can’t access the SPS website uhhhhh, its a problem with bandwith uhh. O ya, umm my dad isn’t here and he has every single thing from SPS…yaaa…”

“Wait nevermind, now I’ve realized I’m to cool to show you uhhh Ya that’s it, I don’t have to prove myself to you”

Is that your final answer yet?

w.e dude. Ill just let it go under the advice of someone else on here.

Stop it right now. You are acting your chronological age and not like the supposed intelligent and sophisticated young people you passed yourselves off to be in your essays and interviews. Remember…adcoms do monitor these boards.

^Sorry Keylyme
And mpicz, my internet REALLY was not working that day. haha.

This is going to be insulting to someone, but I am mystified that Hotchkiss is considered part of the boarding school Ivy League and Lawrenceville isn’t. Unless you’re a world-class debater, I can’t imagine considering Hotchkiss superior to Lawrenceville, Milton, or Groton – and when Andover and Exeter consider their “peer schools,” Hotchkiss isn’t typically one of them.

Has kafkareborn seen post #51 on this thread?

I have seen it. The writer is entitled to his/her opinion. I however will not bother to respond to his/her post. I believe there are numerous reasonswhy Hotchkiss is certainly a top school, this has been proven time and time again and I think there is little need to do so again. However I second the fact that Lawrnceville is also a superb school but it is simply not talked about as much on this thread. The HEADS acronym (and later HEADS GMC - i suppose you could make it HEADS GMLC if you would like …) was made simply because we reference these schools very often on this site. They also all have top resources, alumni, students and other things. It was based on this that the schools list was composed. As I have said I will no longer be defending Hotchkiss or any other school for that matter - the facts and history stand on its side.

agreed w/ principal.
it really is an amazing school.

i hope you do all know that this is just an acronym made up because it’s easy to remember and all and it’s not as long.
people tend not to type out HADES/HEADS GMC because it is… quite a lot and everything.

@sspixie17x: If Hotchkiss isn’t considered one of the so called “peer-schools” of Exeter and Andover as you’ve said, then how many schools do YOU think will be in that group?

Good point. Hotchkiss, by popular mandate, is clearly a top school.

How about…the Ginseng League? Ginseng is related to ivy…
plus, we wouldn’t have to come up with some stupid acronym that leaves tons of great schools out. Like…
Andover
Choate
Deerfield
Exeter
Groton
Hotchkiss
L’ville
Middlesex
Milton
NMH
all the “St.” schools
etcetc…

I think thats a great idea. No one can get mad for leaving out a school…

Eight schools, then… :)! If you want it to be compared with an ivy league. Just kidding… :p

then we should officialize it/ I’ll make a thread presently.
