I've had it with college spam.

I've gotten yet another pamphlet from some unknown school that I've never heard of. This is their 10th thing they've sent to me. I've looked at this school and it looks like the opposite of the school I'm intending to attend. It has a 78% acceptance rate, 1200 SAT median score (mind you, in the 2400 scale), and 16 as its median ACT score. I got a 201 on the PSAT, so why do they bother? I guess the Student Search Services thing is some scheme for unknown colleges to annoy you. I'm considering sending either that college or the College Board an email to exclude me from sending me horse crap in the mail. When I registered for the SAT a couple of weeks ago, I did not select the box for my personal info to be sent to colleges, so I hope that ends the bombardment of low-profile colleges sending worthless mail. Is there another way to stop receiving mail from schools or am I stuck for the rest of my life?
On the flip side, I've gotten stuff from Northwestern, Princeton, and other schools in that caliber.

Maybe this thing is practice for real life. It's like signing up for something, and regretting it when spam bombards you, sort of like when you sign up for a credit card offer.

I didn't disclose the school's name because I'm afraid they'll send their lawyers to me for talking trash about the school. If you're curious, I'll list the schools that sent me worthless mail.
