Wish me tons of luck, any last minute reminders?

with which school? good luck!!!!

Thanks! You probably haven't heard of the school, but it's an alumni interview, whatever that means.

Haha...that would mean you are having an interview with an alumnus i would assume.

Good luck Natasha, not that you'll need it

I will need all the luck I can get, because I'm not that great at small talk.

Why do they have alumni interviews? Are they different from interviews by faculty or something? I don't get it.

kiss me kate!

It's usually because they don't have enough faculty members to cover everyone who wants an interview, so they have alumni conduct a large portion of the interviews.

A good piece of advice about these interviews - at the end, the interviewer will always ask you if you have any questions to ask. You should always come into the interview with a few specific questions about the school ready, to show your interest and preparation. These questions shouldn't be things that can be answered just by reading the school's website. Your interviewer is an alumnus, ask for some special detail that he/she would know because of his/her time at the school.

I'm speaking from my experience with college interviews, not HS ones, just so you know.

Umm u havent heard of having alumni give interviews? Its jsut what they do usually. I;ve never heard of having faculty give interviews. Its usually admission officers or alumni (alumni can also share their good experiences and praise they had since they were students there once)

Thanks Jimmy, and muah IVY.

I'm going!

Good luck!!!

Don't be so stressed about it, because I discovered it's really a fun and casual conversation...

No problem. What are you doing tomorrow night?

Ummm..i dont know nothing exciting no parties or anything.

Yeah, I'm 99% sure that I'm staying home. I'm still not done with my applications! Annhhh! I really want to see memoirs of a geisha, but so far it looks like that's impossible. Sad.

Ooh. I went to watch that last week. It wasn't so bad.

So how did the interview go?

I'm superstitious, so I'll just give you this:
