<p>Apparently my previous notions about purdue engineering were false. I thought i would have a match at purdue with my stats, but after posting on the "chances boards" i was told that UIUC,Wisconson, and Purdue are all equal in selectivtity. I was told that i had a match with a 4.2 W and 3.5 UW Gpa. Coupled with a 30 on my ACT. Am i going for a reach at purdue? Also what is the difference between college of tech and college of eng. and where whould computer science lie?</p>
<p>I had a friend who was declined by Purdue and accepted into UIUC. At the same time I know people who have had the very reverse happen to them. Take your chance and apply to both, it can’t hurt. Computer science would fall into the College of Science and Technology at Purdue.</p>
