I really don't know what to do anymore, i have less than 3 months of junior year left and a 4.3 overall from 10th and half of 11th, but i just cant go to school anymore. I doon't know what to do.

10 painkillers will do the job depending on your weight

hah I've missed school so much this year that if I miss anymore or am tardy at all, I can't graduate so suck it up...Having mono on top of it all just worsen the situation...it's almost over!

what happened shopaholic? Bad day at school? Or are you sick?

You're doing great at school, so why give up now? Summer is almost here, you just need to push yourself a little more.

bad day? more like a bad year. the school has too many unsocial students and i have a D in a class

I'm with you on this one.

I just don't feel like doing anything - luckily I'm on Spring Break at the moment, but I just want this school year to be OVER!

Just need to survive this year, I'm sure you can bring that D up, just convince yourself that once you're done with this semester you'll have the summer to relax!

:)

This year is absolutely terrible. I've been counting the days until graduation since Thanksgiving.

I'm tired of all of my classes and most of my classmates. I come home and dread starting my homework, so I put it off, which means my grades are not as good as they could be.

me tooooooooooo ='( i'm having the same probs. previously good student, been plummetting in motivation for studying especially. i'm taking four ap classes this year and barely studying for any of them. only like two A's. lol i wish i had a motivational speaker on my shoulder. GUYS!!!!! WHAT SHOULD WE DOOOOOO!?!?!?!?

yubi, 4 ap classes???haha me 2!!!!!!!!!

Me too! My grades are fopr **** right now. Where is my motivation?!?!

LOL GUUUUUYS!! we should form some sort of honor student motivation group!! LOL!! taking those ap classes are sucking away my energy but i don't know what's sucking away my motivation!! lol like your name, i take it on by slashing that credit card -_____- DEAR GODESS!!!!!!!

dude, this is gonna be like THE motivation thread!!!!!! what do you guys think? :)

well shopaholic..................trust me it DOESNT GET EASIER WHEN YOU ARE A SENIOR..........COLLEGE ADMISSION IS AN EXAMPLE OF HELL IN EARTH......and you also suffer FROM ANXIETY.......TO ANXIOUS TO FIND OUT WHAT COLLEGE YOU GOT IN....

I completely agree - it feels like I'm not good at anything anymore. I thought I understood math, then I took the test. Now I realize I don't get. I probably got a C. It's certainly not the end of the world, but now I'm doubting going to a tech school. I mean, if I don't grasp basic hs math, how could I accomplish anything at Caltech, or Harvey Mudd? I love science and math and stuff, but what if I'm just not good enough? I care, but not enough to try to make a difference.

awww don't despair!! i think everyone goes through those little downs lol but don't forget about the ups. the next time you get that 90 something or 100 on the math test ;] you'll realize what a math genius you are!

lol yea.. i guess college admissions are going to be quite hair-whitening!

You should start running. I have and it clears up a lot of the bull sh** in your life. Over the last month, mine has had a lot worse than worrying about school. Now I run, and just forget about it all.

^^ EXACTLY.......YESSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FINALLY......someone who understands that running helps aleviate stress and anxiety....whooo hooo

I love running too (long distance, cross country). I'm not good (usually 22 min 5k) but I'm a girl and I race in 2A Nevada, so there isn't much competition. Usually its the only thing that keeps me sane, but right now I'm injured, which only makes everything that much worse.

I've lost all motivation too! In AP Euro we just had a discussion on Animal Farm, and I didn't participate at all...and I've heard rumours that she's giving 0/75 points to people who didn't participate...which would make my grade go from a 93 to an 84...

yea I'm a runner also (leisure)

and trust me...your senior year will be both exciting and STRESSFUL...college admissions/financial aid almost put me into a depression a few months ago....and I'm still waiting on my #1 choice (April 1st)...then add prom (which I don't care about...but everyone's making a big deal of it), graduation, extracurriculars, and academics to that...it's really gonna get to you but you gotta stick it out...junior year was nowhere near as stressful as senior year for me...

and I feel you @ ever_after...I'm in AP Bio this year and I've failed almost every test we've had (still have an 89 in the class)...I also plan on majoring in Bio/pre-med...so I definitely started to question my future...but I've concluded that my bad test grades are a result of NO study habits/laziness/chronic tardiness (it's my first block class)...AKA Senioritis...

TRY YOUR HARDEST TO NOT CATCH SENIORITIS UNTIL AFTER SPRING BREAK lol...

can't...... run............. @.@ i usually just TALK lol to alleviate stress. or i like.. go on this forum LOL
