I've narrowed it down to 2...

UConn and Rutgers... there's not much time left to decide and I'm split between the two. Please help me decide, here's some info:

pros of me going to UConn: don't have to take any english courses(3 on AP exams), only $7000 a year, relatives went there, good for bio and research

pros of going to Rutgers: good for bio and research, better campus in my view, wont be seeing the same people as in high school(nearly everyone I know is going to UConn), get to live away from family, wont have to take english and destroy my chance at a 4.0 GPA

cons of UConn: will seem like high school again, will have to live at home with parents and commute, campus life seems boring(will transfer after 2 years to main campus)

cons of Rutgers: confusing to get to places, $20000 a year

i think it comes down to whether you’re willing to suck it up and live with your parents and save money, or if you’d rather pay $20000 to go to Rutgers and get a “new start”. It really depends on whether your parents are willing to pay for it, but $20000 for Rutgers is a lot when you could go to UConn, which is just as good in my opinion, for a lot less money.
Go with UConn, and see if you could live on-campus.

If I were you, I would go to UConn - there’s a physicist there who’s building a time machine :O

Pun of my name? Anyway, my parents can afford it and would pay, though saving money is saving money…

No… I was serious, there really is a physicist there building a time machine – his name is Ron Mallett. He was all over the news when he began the project in 2006.
