I've narrowed it down...

Hey guys... I'm just wondering if you guys think I picked a difficult, but not impossible list of schools to transfer to. I like my current schools, but want a place with more opportunity.
Your profile does not, in my opinion, help you; it is too long and full of trivia ( although the Easter egg hunt will make you a memorable candidate if anyone bothers to read that far down your litany of "accomplishments"). Possible at only Cornell as it accepts a significant number of transfers each year.

I don't think you stand a chance at Stanford, Harvard, Brown, Dartmouth, or UPenn.

You have a decent chance at Rice, WashU, and Cornell CALS if you slash that ridiculously tedious list in 1/16th.

I know my profile has a lot of trivial information in it. The reason it has so much random information in it is because i literally write down everything I've done in college on a particular word document. My pre-med adviser told me to do this, so when i go to write essays I can look back and remember all that I've done. I will not send a list like that into a school I'm applying to, that would be juvenile and would look unprofessional.

My most important extracurriculars are:
RA'ing
Community Council member
President of Grand Valley Students for a Peaceful Africa
Co-Captain of relay for life team
Captain of intramural volleyball team
Volunteer at nursing home
Volunteer tutoring children at local elementary

Also, I had a 3.88 highschool G.P.A and a 29 on the ACT. I plan on retaking the ACT and I expect a score in the 32-34 range.

I would save my time/money and hold off on Harvard, Stanford, Brown, Dartmouth, and Penn; you could substitute more viable options like UMich or Emory or other more transfer-friendly schools.

which college do you attend now?

I attend Grand Valley State University in Michigan. I know none of you have probably heard of it, but it actually, from what i know, is the second hardest state university in Michigan to gain admission to.

I think you'll have a chance if you really raise your ACT score to 32-34.
It is obviously easier said than done.

I think you have a shot. You seem to be very..."random" in your approach to things. Colleges like to see that you have a passion, not the ability to fill up a resume.
