as most of you know, there have been slow posting times here at cc... when it's "waiting" to upload your post, just scroll up and click on the main category that you were in i.e. high school life, columbia, etc. it'll post anyway, and it'll save you about a minute of time

i've never tried your method, but it also helps to click the post button twice, and than a message says you can only post once every 60 seconds and your posted!

okay. sorry. just tried your method, and it works a lot better than mine.

testing .

testing the method....

Check. Check. 123. Check...

i wouldn't lie you guys... haha

it doesn't take a long time to post for me...

For the record, this is not specific to CollegeConfidential. Being a broadband user, I've never used this "method" regularly. It's worth noting that it also works at other sites. However, there isn't a guarantee that your message was posted. For example, if you were disconnected while typing, it's clear that your message won't be posted. The reason this works is that the form data is sent first, and if it's text, usually is sent quickly. What takes significant loading time is the return of the confirmation page from the website, and if you're in a hurry, it may not be necessary to see it at all.

right... but cc posts are all text... so essentially, this cuts down on the server bandwidth problems we've all been having
