I've sorted out my EC's a little, but I'm still nervous.

I'm a sophomore. I'm a good student, ranked 6th in a class of about 500, most challenging courses possible (though I attend a mediocre high school which likes to weight classes like band, which I don't take). Never taken the SAT, but my PSAT was 203 without any studying. I don't have many awards, just some honor roll certificates and a maxima cum laude medal from the National Latin Exam last year.

I'm not in any clubs. I have a summer job at a grocery store and I do XC (JV freshman year, varsity this year, aiming for varsity next year but it's a reach) and winter and spring track (JV in both, our varsity standards are insane). I am also starting community service at the local hospital when I return from a trip I am taking in 2 weeks.

The thing that consumes most of my time is duct tape. I know that sounds really weird. I make flower pens (you can find tons of images if you google it) which I sell, and purses and wallets, which I use. I love to make things out of tape. For me, it's a great way to clear my head as well as make something beautiful from something so simple.

I'm planning on applying to some top schools, but some slightly lower schools as well. Will my EC's hurt me? Is the duct tape thing even an EC?
