i'm a sophomore at one and did freshman year at the other. if anyone has questions about comparing the two or about business school in general let me know.

what are my chances of transferring into these two schools?

is there a difference transferring as a freshman or as a junior?? (ie chances)

my stats are as follow:

University of Toronto - majoring commerce, probably will end with a steady 3.3-3.5 GCPA.
SAT I - 1600
High school - bad marks all over the place except senior year
EC - tons, business related, some demonstrate leadership role
Award - some math contests
Letters - probably will get some okay ones
Essay - haven't started, but will do my best

If you ask me, 3.3-3.5 seems low. I know that UofT is known for grade deflation, but I don't think that a 3.3-3.5 will cut it. You are talking about the two best (and selective) undergrad b-schools in the States.

hmm.. tough call. I'm pretty sure almost all the wharton transfers have very high college GPAs. I imagine the low end is 3.7. It's still possible. Stern's transfer is also competitive. SATs are factored in though, and obviously yours is amazing. i'd say applying for transfer is worth a shot, your ECs will probably help you.
ps. I'm from canada too. don't you love how you can totally **** up throughout high school, do well senior year and get into a fantastic school like U Toronto? oh canada...

did you transfer to wharton. if so, is high school gpa important in the decision? or is it mainly first year college?

yes, were you in stern then transferred to wharton, or vice versa?

Which do you like better?
