I've submitted my application. What can I do to improve my chances?

I recently submitted an ED application, and I’m wondering whether there is anything I can do to improve my chances while waiting for the decision to come through. Any suggestions?

Have you interviewed? That can be helpful, if they consider interviews.

^^^^Agree that if you haven’t interviewed and the school does do interviews you can request one (check the college’s website). Also if you have any significant updates (new honors/awards/accomplishments) before the decision date you can send a brief email to your admissions officer. Other than that there isn’t much to do but wait.

FWIW I don’t think my D contacted her ED school between the time she submitted her application and the time a decision was made (she interviewed before her application was submitted) and she got in.
