Do I have a shot?
Thanks

You seem a little weak on ECs. Either emphasize the music more, or do something else to stick out… maybe you’re just selling yourself short online? Embellish!

Harvard - 15%
Stanford - 20%
Yale - 10%
UPenn - 25%
Northwestern - accepted
Notre Dame - accepted

joshcasto’s percentages are scewed. You certainly don’t have twice the shot at Stanford than you do at Yale. Also, why is he 50 percent more likely to be admitted to Harvard than Yale?

Northwestern is more competitive he realizes.

To the OP: work on your ECs; they are holding your application back.

Maybe I should elaborate some more…

The science fair projects have consumed upwards 10hr per week and produced astounding results that will be posted in a scientific journal soon.
Also, the non-profit organization I founded has helped companies to collect more than $1 million in the past 1.5yr. I have spent 1,000s of hours throughout the summer and school year to contact businesses and individuals and have had a satisfactory success rate.

I also forgot to mention that my high school concert band placed 3rd in Texas and has played in Carnegie Hall (during the same trip as the NYC parade).

I’m not sure why I’m not getting any responses, but I would be very thankful if I could get some feedback…

Same! haha

Hey,
You have great SATs, and if you sell yourself well you have a good chance.
Make sure to emphasize your passions, and let the schools know how much time you have consecrated to your ecs…
If you do that well, and write essays then…
HYS: 30-50% and you’ll probably be accepted to one

…what? haha
