Which of the Ivies do you guys think has the best campus/atmosphere? I visited Cornell last week and it was kinda spread out, but the people seemed nice. UPenn has a nice modern campus. I spent last summer as Harvard SSP and loved it, the campus was nice and compact, close to boston and Cambridge is nice. So what do you guys think?

There is no "best campus/atmosphere". It all depends on what you like. Visitng them is the only way to get a true impression on if you think you'll like it or not.

Dartmouth! Its a small scenic campus with beautiful buildings. It has that small town atmosphere and gorgeous trees. Love at first sight for me!

Yeah, for campus I'd go Dartmouth, though Harvard has a great location.

I have to agree with TomK. In my opinion, Harvard has a not-so-great campus but excellent location, while Yale has an excellent campus but not-so-great location.

I like both Harvard's campus and location. Though it is (slightly) interspersed throughout Cambridge, I do not think it detracts from the experience. If anything, it enhances it.

Brown seemed quirky and fun...campus was nice...but I'm not a student there

I loved dartmouth when I went. It was so nice, the people are so nice too

I have only been to Harvard, but it is great there! Cambridge is such a nice place.

Haha, I don't think Cambridge itself is a nice place... Harvard/Harvard Square is nice, and MIT's campus is nice (where nice = safe, not nice = gorgeous) -- but the stuff in between scares me.

Well, I guess I'm not speaking from experience due to the fact that Harvard and Kendall Square were the only places I went :).

I agree. I was timorous while walking between Kendall Square and Harvard Square.

visited harvard and hated it
why does everyone like the campus
